The hydraulic lever included in the kit does not look to good

So I scratchbuilt my own

Here it is installed together with the footpedals

In this kit (DML #6100) the gearbox, located next to the driver, is missing. I have also read in some forums that this part is still missing in the newer DML 250/1 Premium Edition kit. In other DML kits of the 250 Series however this part is included. Well there is no way around it so I scratchbuilt my own gearbox

And then I added some minor details to complete the gearbox

Next up is the tracks. Not much to change here just adding some missing bolts to the drive sprocket

For a diorama, I am building a Sdkfz 250/7 "neu" using the old DML 250/1 "neu" kit (#6100). I am super-detailing and scratchbuilding many parts of the kit.


The parts for the front wheel suspension/steering included in the kit, are being replaced by scratchbuilt parts. Here is a layout of the parts before assembly:

The parts were attached to the substructure

The whole idea was to have a workable suspension/steering
